The Component Manager is required to support this feature. One way to obtain the Component Manager is to install Apple‚Äôs QuickTime extension. Aladdin‚Äôs ShrinkWrap‚Ñ¢ technology is used to mount disk image files as a separate disk on the Desktop. Image files are a popular way to distribute multiple files and folders in a single file which might otherwise be distributed on removable media such as floppy disks and CD-ROM.
